Tres Dragones is named after the three furnaces once used to dry coffee on the Potosi farm, which famously sparked a fire that destroyed the farmhouse. Owned by brothers Rigoberto and Luis Herrera, Potosi is one of six farms in the Granja La Esperanza organisation and is known for producing some of the world’s most innovative specialty coffee.

The coffee undergoes a fermentation process of 19–22 hours, followed by pulping and a further 35 hours of fermentation. It is then dried for 48 hours in a silo before spending around 15 days resting in solar dryers. Throughout the 95 quality checkpoints during processing, the Herrera brothers have produced an exceptional coffee.
